About Vito Art Métal
In Perpignan, Victor Dulin transforms forgotten mechanical parts into sculptures. Under the name Vito Art Métal, he builds a world where steel keeps its marks, relief and history.
Metal, by instinct
Born in Perpignan in 1982, Victor grew up with painter parents. In 2019 he began sculpting with a small arc welder, teaching himself. Salvaged parts guide his imagination: a nut, a car part or a curve of steel suggests a silhouette. He assembles without preliminary drawings and lets shapes emerge.
From mechanics to presence
Openwork busts, human figures, animals and creatures give metal a new meaning. Science fiction and H. R. Giger’s world inspire his work, including the moving animatronic Alien.
